I refuse to pay these huge mark-ups on ebay or amazon. People are so ridiculous.

We found a way to avoid the ripoff 3rd party markups on Amazon. It alerted us within moments of when some other toys came back in stock on Amazon. You could use it for Zhu Zhu pets or to track anything that is out of stock. It’s free and it’s at http://www.azproductsnatcher.com.
There are four new Zhu Zhu hamsters now. Jilly, Winkie, Scuddles and Nugget will be available in the New Year and are already offered on pre-orders. :-)
The problem seems to be that they just can’t make enough of the toys. The company has increased production in the past month with multiple factories in China making these zhu zhu pets, but the demand hast outpaced supply, and they just can’t produce enough of them to keep them in stock on the store shelfs.
Also, any stock that ends up in any regional store gets bought up very quickly. Many people who do end up finding local stock purchase as many as they can, and end up selling them on ebay and amazon. So due to the demand, you may not be able to purchase any zhu zhu pets at any stores unless you get lucky.
Based on the way things are looking, and Christmas getting closer, I doubt you will be able to get your hands on any of these toys in stores. Your best bet will be either Amazon or ebay at this point. Good Luck!
i went to toys r us and they have a sign 1 zhu zhu pet per day per family, so i asked customer service and they had them so i got 1 for $ 9.99 and they said they will only hve them until supplies last which wont be long,, SO GO HIT TOYS R US !!!!
You can buy the four basic Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters (Mr. Squiggles, Chunk, Num Nums, Pipsqueak) and Patches (not sold separately but in certain bundles) in Walmart, Toys R Us or Amazon.com.
Four more hamsters will be issued in 2010. They called Jilly, Winkie, Scuddles and Nugget.
