Question by MES: How do you fix a Zhu Zhu pet that stopped moving?
My friend's Zhu Zhu pet stopped moving. It still squeaks. How do you fix this?

try getting a new battery. i would advise you to throw it away because it is bad for you it has mercury in it and could potentially kill you. :) *happy thoughts!

Zhu Zhu Pets have a big warning on the front of the box to keep away from hair. They also tend to pick up hair on carpet if you are not careful. My daughter got hers and her brother’s caught in her long blonde hair and the second time we had to cut it out. If you see any dark behind the wheels of the drive assembly (it should be all white plastic parts), then you have hair or fibers caught behind the wheels. The fibers will prevent the transmission from changing directions for your pet.
I fixed this by unscrewing the large screw on the bottom of the Zhu Zhu pet to remove the drive assembly and expose the batteries. You can try to remove the hair with a needle and tweezers.
It is possible to take the drive assembly apart, but it is up to you as this will void the warranty.
