The newest and most popular toy this season is the Zhu Zhu Pet hamster. Parents are waiting in long lines just to try and purchase these little hamster toys that make some 40 different noises and spin around then go from place to place on their own.

You see, unlike real hamsters these don't have to potty. They don't ever need their cages cleaned out, or even require food. Kids really seem to love them. There are several different hamster models and just like real pets each have their own name and personality. The hamsters make many different sounds and have their own actions that they perform.

There are also different accessories that you can get for them to play in. One in particular that I am thinking of at the moment even drives it's own car. The little toy hamster even has a garage. They are really amazing things, these little electronic toys. People can't help but love them.

It seems like each year there is a new toy or product that appears on the market that everyone wants to own. When this happens it creates a shortage. The price goes up as a result and so does the competition to purchase the item. That is what has happened in this situation as well.

I have seen news reports that the company that owns the rights to the little hamsters will make profits in the hundreds of millions of dollars this year. They are not only going to sell well this holiday season but are projected to sell very well for quite some time to come. At least that is the impression I got from watching an interview with the company spokesperson on a news program. If your thinking about getting one of the little hamsters before Christmas then you had better hurry time is running out and supplies are limited, so don't wait until the last minute.
